On 27th March, 2014, Mr. Liu Jinxing, the international logistics expert, has visited the Road and Highway Departments of Bangladesh Ministry of Communications; has listened to introduction about the Transportation Galleries Middle Lines and South Lines Plan of BCIM Economic Corridor, and program report about the Dacca-Chittagong Expressway; has discussed and communicated  in-depth with Bangladesh side for the themes like the Transportation Galleries Plan of BCIM Economic Corridor, the Site Selection for the Free Trade Zones along the Economic Corridor and others.
    He supposed that the sites selection for BCIM-FTZ should consider the areas along the ocean and ports, along the international land-ports, along the border economic cooperation zones. Specifically, we should build up the BCIM-FTZ Experimental Pilots in Kamlapur International Land Port (Bangladesh Dacca), Sonadia Port (Bangladesh Cox’s Bazaar), Ruili International Land Port (China), Kunming Tenjun International Land Port (China), Durgapur International Land Port (India Kolkata), Kyaukphyu Economic Cooperation Zone (Myanmar), Mandalay International Land Port (Myanmar); should set up the customs supervision bonded areas in the trade zones; should promote the policies like bonded logistics, national treatment access system, negative list, offshore finance, clearance facilitation and others to work in free trade zones.
    The construction of Industrial Parks of BCIM Economic Corridor should confirm the breakthrough; we should start the joint research for FTZ experimental pilots’ construction; should encourage running and managing the enterprises’ programs. All of these would play essential effect for advancing the development along the BCIM Economic Corridor.
